In greenhouse horticulture there is a year round water shortage of qualitative usable irrigation water, regardless the use of rain water for pouring. Also the distribution and cleaning of sewage water from the horticulture industries lead to high costs for the industry. Even more, modern sewage cleaning installations are not designed for cleaning water of this type and current sewage systems are dimensioned for occasional peak flows. By closing the water-chain in greenhouse horticulture a solution for these problems is offered.
